A host of analysis are performed before an optimal solution is locked on, these include numerical FEA analysis for electromagnetic, thermal, stress analysis and vibration analysis, using sophisticated computational softwares.

Our engineers make tolerance analysis for matching the automation requests and for magnetic reliability and analysis of forces.
The forces are computed during magnetic simulations and then used for a stress analysis, with a forces proof bench.

  • ELECTROMAGNETIC CALCULATIONS

    When a magnetic request is passed to the magnetic design team, a preliminary feasibility study is performed, if the feasibility tests are cleared, then in conjunction with the requesting party a go ahead is given to the design and optimization of the magnetizing equipment and process. The optimization can be done depending upon specific customer needs such as specific field profile or in generalized terms such as optimized magnet saturation level, energy, cycle time, etc. Full cooperation is provided to the customers to optimize their products.

  • COMPLEMENTARY ANALYSES

    While evaluating the electromagnetic aspect, we understand that the equipment will be part of an industrial process and the magnetizing process may interact with the other stages of the industrial process, potentially working along with robots, automated machines and human operators. Accordingly based on the constraints given by the other stages, the process is optimized in terms of choice of magnetizing technology, cycle time, product manipulation, pre-orientation, loading and extraction methods. In addition optimization in terms of thermal behaviour, vibration & stress behaviour, equipment dimensions, stray field, etc. are also performed.

    The equipment is designed and optimized to be the most affordable, efficient and user friendly, as it has to be in harmony with the entire industrial process.
